Melanie Young is the early enrichment manager at the
Academy Art Museum in Easton, Maryland. She spends most of
her time singing, dancing and covered in paint and clay in the
Young Explorers and Music at the Museum programs. It’s a
wonderful life! Melanie lives in Easton with her husband Tim,
and her children Annabel, Ian and James.
Ellen Wile teaches music at Easton Elementary School.
She also has 18 years of experience as a church choir director.
Elsewhere in the community, Ellen has sung in the Easton
Choral Arts Society and is currently a singing member of the
Tidewater Chamber Singers, for which she has also planned
and directed two Christmas concerts. Ellen also teaches music
classes for parents and small children at the Academy Art
Museum. Ellen has taught these classes for six years.
Aside from his scraggly face and emerging belly, Ryan
Catterton teaches music at Easton Elementary. Originally from
Wisconsin, Ryan is fond of cheese, the Green Bay Packers, and
the occasional bass fishing trip. When he's not playing music with
friends he can be found grilling in his back yard, or taking a spin
around town on his motorcycle.
